In February this year, the government of Japan filed a protest, through its Embassy in Australia, against a book entitled "Princess Masako" with its author, Mr. Ben Hills, and its publisher, Random House Australia.
Meanwhile, the Imperial Household Agency conveyed its views to the author in the form of a letter concerning a part of the book which discusses specific official duties of His Majesty the Emperor and the Japanese Imperial Family.
