Let's visit the Shosoin
The Shosoin is in Nara City in Nara Prefecture.
In the Shosoin Repository, treasures from the 8th century (1300 years ago) have been passed from generation to generation, including items that the Emperor Shomu admired. To preserve these ancient treasures, the collection of the treasures is not always open to public. This heritage viewing for the azekura style of architecture is temporary stopped for the construction.
