The Kyoto Imperial Palace will open its doors to the public as follows. (In-advance applications are not required. Admission is free).
Visitors will be able to view Shishinden, Seiryoden, Kogosyo, Ogakumonjo and Otsunegoten.
- (1)Term: 5 days from April 4 (Thu.) - April 8 (Mon.)
- (2)Hours: 9:00-15:30 (Last admission at 15:30. Visitors are requested to leave by 16:15)
- (3)Closed: on April 3 (Wed.) and April 9 (Tue.) for the preparation and the cleanup.
- (4)Performances:
Gagaku (Imperial Court music and dances)

On the stage in front of Shunkoden
*If it rains : at Jomeimon Gate
Kemari (Ancient football game of the Imperial Court)

- (5)For the preparation and the cleanup, the regular Imperial Palace tours on Wednesday April 3rd and Tuesday April 9th will be suspended.
