(Visitors may be required to wait in the queue for a long period of time, so please ensure that you have sufficient time for your visit before 3:30 p.m. It may take close to 30 minutes to walk from the stations in the vicinity to Sakashita-mon Gate.)
The closing time for visitors leaving from Inui-mon Gate is 4:00 p.m.
The closing time for visitors leaving from the East Gardens is 4:30 p.m.
- Entry and Exit:
- (1) Enter by Sakashita-mon Gate. After crossing in front of the Office Building of the Imperial Household Agency, cross Inui Street, and exit from Inui-mon Gate. Alternatively, visitors may also choose to exit from Ote-mon Gate leading from Nishihanebashi to the East Gardens, Hirakawa-mon Gate, or Kitahane-bashi-mon Gate.
- (2) The only entry is by Sakashita-mon Gate, and traffic goes in a single direction toward Inui-mon Gate or the East Gardens. Please note that visitors are not allowed to enter via Inui-mon Gate or the East Gardens to Inui Street.
- *The distance from Sakashita-mon-Gate to Inui-mon Gate is about 750 m.
